      After your evaluation, you will register for your desired number of courses. Options for weekly and monthly are available. 
    • MAKE PAYMENT

Why sing?

The Voice is the most beautiful instrument of communication. People Love to Sing and Express themselves it is such a great feeling! The Voice in song is a powerful means of Storytelling that has been used throughout the ages to pass down actual events and the effects of the events. The Voice in its singing mode lends to a beautiful expression of thoughts and emotions that touch not only the singer but the listener.

When should people start singing?

Now!! Now!! Now!! It’s never too early or too late to begin singing. The younger the better for long lasting enjoyment but also for mental and academic development. Young children should have singing all around beginning in the womb. We know that babies hear, feel, and sense emotional content before birth, and what better way to begin healthy self awareness than before delivery? Children learn concepts quickly through song. Singing stimulates movement and singers are movers. Singing builds relationships. Singing builds confidence. Singing stimulates problem solving. Singing opens doors of creativity. Singing builds cooperative skills and teamwork. Singing provides opportunities to be in public and to learn management skills for both individuals and groups. Singing heals emotions and provides a way of escape for many troubled children.  Singing can even save lives and provide purpose for those who are unsafe. Singing inspires! Singing is for everyone, everywhere, anytime.

What ages do you teach?

Salem Voice Academy exists for all ages. Children and adults alike can learn music theory online. Young adults through adults may take voice and body mapping lessons.

Where are you located?

Salem Voice Academy operates from the heart of beautiful Salem, Oregon, from Caren Jensen’s comfortable, personal home studio.

What do I need to prepare for my lesson?

Caren will help pupils understand what they need to do to prepare for their upcoming sessions. Lessons are conducted either in person or over Zoom based on student preference.

Can I record my lessons?

Zoom and in-person vocal lessons are recordable with signature of a waiver. Please let Caren know beforehand should you want this option!
